2015 Washington State Chapter Leadership

Congratulations to  the newly elected leaders on the Washington State Chapter Board of Directors!  We look forward to your hard work and dedication to the profession of Social Work as you lead the Washington State Chapter into the future.

The WA State Chapter Nominations Leadership Identification Committee (NLIC) met several times from August 2013 to March 2014. The NLIC was chaired by Susan Reynolds.  The committee’s charge was to identify candidates for statewide positions on the Washington Chapter Board of Directors, region positions on the Board of Directors, and other region positions.

The 2015 Fiscal Year election ended on June 6, 2014. The 2015 Fiscal Year electronic ballots were distributed in late April 2014 and all electronic balloting ended June 6, 2014. The following are the result of the election for the Board of Directors:

The term of office for the newly elected Board of Director members is July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2016, with the exception of the President Elect, B.S.W. Student Representative, and M.S.W. Student Representative whose terms end on June 30, 2015.

In addition to the candidates on the ballot, several additional candidates were identified to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.  These appointments were made at the June 2014 Board of Directors meeting.  RaeJean Hendricks was appointed as the Columbia River Region Representative to the Board of Directors.  Jennifer Ozawa-Hanson was appointed as the South Puget Sound NLIC Representative.
