NOTICE OF CHANGE IN SCHEDULE for the Northwest Conference on Social Work

NOTICE OF CHANGE IN SCHEDULE for the Northwest Conference on Social Work:

Due to lower than expected registrations, all break-out sessions and all of Saturday will be cancelled. The conference will be FRIDAY ONLY October 28th with the opening keynote of NASW National President Darrell Wheeler addressing “The State of the Profession. The State of the Association,” followed by 3 hours from author of “Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others,” and closing with a 2 hour panel presentation and round table discussions on “The Future of the Social Work Profession in the Northwest.” You won’t want to miss this 1-day gathering of social work leaders from across the region. We will not gather again for a conference for several months, so please plan to join us this October 28th!

Alaska Airlines is offering a discount to fly to PDX using the code ECMX199 and the host hotel Holiday Inn Portland Airport discounted rate rooms are still available (until Sunday, October 16th).
